I am a teacher, educator, early years literacy specialist, librarian, coach, mentor and most of all, I am a learner.

I believe in inclusive education that focuses of teaching in a holistic manner. Fostering connections between the classroom, the home, and family is the best practice. With affordable and replaceable reading materials you do not need to be afraid to send books home with your children.

When I read with children I can watch them grow and learn with their books, I can watch them decode words with a smile on their faces, the kind of smiles that can only come from learning, learning that can only happen with the right book; I feel honored, I feel a kind of happiness that no award could provide.

Having access to quality reading material at a young age is one of the biggest predictors of children's future reading ability. I believe that every child should have access to books that are interesting and engaging.
