My teaching style is based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, Bloom's Taxonomy, and Howard Gardner's theory of multiple intelligences. I believe students should have fun learning and be provided with access to subjects that inspire their natural curiosity.

I have taught on five states: Texas, Mississippi, Oregon, Washington, and Montana. My duties were varied, and they included English and social studies teacher, principal, library media specialist, and regional education specialist. I have volunteered as an English teacher in six countries: Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, and Nepal. In total, I have visited twenty-three countries where I have been fortunate to build a collection of many unique legends and myths that have proven to be extremely inspirational to middle and high school students. For five years, I maintained a successful travel blog, one read in ninety countries and focused on stories I learned throughout my travels. My goal at TPT is to inspire others to develop an appreciation of Our World, One Story at a Time.
