I am a Mathematics Consultant with Stanislaus County Office of Education in Modesto, CA. I support TK-6 teachers in their professional development and classroom instruction. I previously taught both 6th and 5th grades in the California Central Valley for six wonderful years! I worked as an Instructional Materials Reviewer for the state of California for the 2014 Mathematics Adoption, and I have also been a presenter at the Central California Mathematics Project's annual conference for the past two years.
My teaching style is very interactive. I strive to get my students to express their thoughts, justify their answers, and have collaborative discourse with their peers. One of my goals is to help students love to learn and believe in themselves.
Nominated for Stanislaus County Teacher of the Year 2012-2013
