She has served in the roles of superintendent of schools, principal, special education director, middle school teacher, and instructional coach for grades K-12. As CEO & Senior Educational Consultant, she brings her expertise as a professional developer, trainer, technical assistance provider, and school improvement specialist. Nicole has visited 1,000+ classrooms and has facilitated 100+ workshops on curriculum, instruction, and educational change for teachers and leaders. Outcomes of her work can be seen across New York State. She is a contributing author of the state guidance manual for Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and has reformed school turnaround and special education systems for many districts. At the height of the covid-19 pandemic, she was tapped to step in to lead a district in returning students to in-person instruction, budget development, and launching a summer program to address student learning loss. Nicole has presented to both national and statewide audiences on educational change, leadership development, and MTSS. She currently serves on the legislative committee for the New York State Council for Administrators for Special Education.
