I have taught 12 years in both private and public school settings. Over the span of this time I have had great experiences teaching kindergarten, third grade and special education.
I truly believe that each student comes to the classroom with unique talents and abilities. For this reason I teach most often in small, differentiated groups. My classroom is an active, engaging environment where students often explore feel free to take risks with their learning.
Yet to be added
In addition to my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, I also hold a K-12 Reading Endorsement and K-12 Intervention Specialist License. I have also completed a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
When I am not working on classwork I love spending time crafting and being creative with my two beautiful daughters!
