TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught special education in a co-teaching class for 7th grade English and History. Currently I teach students in adaptive curriculum classes for grades 5-8 for all subjects.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to get the kids up and moving. We make up songs and silly dances to remember key information or important vocabulary. We do scavenger hunts, station centers, partner work, and promethean board activities. I LOVE incorporating reading into my lessons, at all ability levels, to encourage students to read to learn and love to read.
