Music Room Resources

Over 10 years experience as a private instrumental tutor and over 5 years experience at teaching from Preschool through to 12th grade classroom music. Conductor of school concert bands and percussion ensembles. Have performed in a variety of ensembles such as concert bands, jazz bands, african drumming groups, choirs, rock groups and marching bands.

I endorse a practical and hands on approach to music and like to maintain a positive atmosphere in the classroom. My preference is to teach theory through practical activities and make learning tasks that are approachable for people of all abilities.

Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education at UNSW.

I am also passionate about children's music and have recorded my own children's album. I do live performances and run incursions and workshops that encourage children to engage in and create music.
