TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught private piano and guitar lessons for twenty plus years. I co-own a music studio that subcontracts to seven other teachers. In addition to music, I am one of the ESL teachers for our local school district covering grades K-12. I have worked with students of all ages and abilities across all of these disciplines.

I have a BA in English Education from North Dakota State University as well as a Masters in teaching English as a Second Language from St. Cloud State University. Although I do not hold a music degree specifically, I have had numerous college music classes, and the privilege of having worked with some amazing instructors over the course of my career.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live in rural Minnesota with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. Having grown up on a farm in North Dakota, I enjoy living in a small town and spending time with my family.
