I have taught for 11 years, including 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. I love what I do and seeing my students reach their highest potential. I also coach and support teachers and administrators on popular literacy and English Language Learner initiatives that are good for all students, regular ED, Special Ed, and ELLs. Teachers today have a lot of stress with recent mandates and initiatives. My goal is to lessen the stress to my students and other educators as a way where they understand the essence of all these changes, but still feel comfortable adapting to them.
My teachers left an impact on my life and I feel that I do the same for my students. I see all students as individuals and celebrate their individual strengths and build their weakness.
