TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching AP Human Geography, AP US History, US History AP World History and AP Government since fall 2014. 8 Years of that was at one of the top college prep high schools in the country teaching exclusively AP classes. I have also graded APHG Free Response Questions for the College Board for repeated sequential years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

All my classes are a mix of powerpoint based lectures, simulations, projects and activities! Every powerpoint includes bellwork, videos, discussion questions and summaries. Students are always actively involved in their learning!

I received my Bachelor's degree in History from Westmont College. I received my Master's degree in education at the University of Arizona. I have also attended College Board Summer Institutes for multiple years prepping for all the AP courses I have taught!
