I have taught a little bit in a lot of areas over the past 13 years. I started out teaching 3 year year olds and later moved on to elementary children. My favorite subjects to teach are Music, Art, Math, Writing and Spanish/German. I ran my own school that catered to children with special needs before deciding to become a Montessori trained educator five years ago. Since then I have taught in multi-age classrooms in Milwaukee, Switzerland, Phoenix, and now Mesa, Arizona. I relish the challenges of developing Montessori materials that help exceptional learners and satisfy public mandates while staying true to a child-centered, hands-on approach to learning.
I approach teaching as both a scientific observer and reflective Artist. I like to make learning constructive, interesting, artistic, connected to real life and most importantly, fun:) I truly believe in the Montessori saying, "follow the child." My most important lessons have come from my children.
Numerous scholarships, handwritten cards and the satisfaction of happy learners every day.

I perform musically and write stories for fun with my two boys at home. I am trying to raise money to help my autistic younger son and my older son who has unexplained growth failure that requires expensive treatment beyond my teacher's salary.
