TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My name is Janis McDavid. I taught movement and music enrichment classes in NY for 20 years. While living in New York City, I worked as a public school special education teacher. I write original songs for kids and families. I have two published albums that you can find on several online platforms. I received my MST in education from Pace University in NYC, a MFA in Theatre Arts from Rutgers University in New Jersey, and a BFA in theatre arts from Howard University in Washington, DC. Although I am still a licensed NYC teacher, I currently live in Florida where I am credentialed to work with preschool children. I love singing and teaching, and I love children!
