TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am first year teacher and I teach Kindergarten. Not only am I a first year teacher, but this is my first experience teaching at the Kindergarten level. Before this year, I gained experience student teaching in a 3rd grade classroom as well as a 5th grade classroom. I am learning a lot this year and have fallen in love with teaching Kindergarten!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a very hands on and visual learner myself and I think that my own learning style is incorporated a lot into my teaching style. However, I believe that not all students learn the same way and I am constantly changing and adapting my teaching style to meet the needs of my learners!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

It's an honor and a reward everyday to work with the kiddos and staff that I do!

I studied Elementary Education at the University of Maine Farmington. I am a K-8 certified Educator. I am looking forward to going back to school and getting my masters in Education.
