TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have home-schooled my own children during summer holidays. Now, I'm involved with a Literacy Council and I teach basic reading, writing and math skills to adults.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I think my teaching style would best be described as "facilitator" because I tend to lean towards student-centered learning. I like to allow the students to take the initiative for meeting the demands of the various learning tasks. I think it's important for learning to be both fun and challenging.

I won the scholarship for English when I graduated from high school.
