TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently in my 6th year of teaching. This is my second year in kindergarten, previously having taught 1st grade for four years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I make every effort to prepare exciting, hands-on activities for my students. I find they work best when they are fully engaged and collaborating with each other.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have written and recieved multiple grants on {the amazing website} Donors Choose. I have served on my school's RTI/SAT team. I currently serve as my school's data and student achievement coach, Resident Educator Coordinator, and new teacher mentor.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I received my BS in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Development from Western Michigan University.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Being a teacher is an honor and privilege. I can't believe it is called "work" when I walk into my classroom each day. Creating classroom resources to share with all of you is just an added bonus of my job!
