TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been a practicing Speech Pathologist for 26 years. I have taught every level from Birth-3 on up to High School. I am currently working in a High School setting. My students' skills range from those who will achieve an advanced diploma and go on to a college setting to those in a Life Skills program who will transition to employment.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I infuse a great deal of humor into my lessons. When dealing with teenagers this can often be a helpful tool to diffuse anger and frustration. I also LOVE to use technology and I sprinkle many of my activities with this as well! What better way to connect with a teen than to utilize something cool and techy?
