TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am an educator with a passion for teaching, and have had the privilege to teach various grades and subjects in 2nd through 5th grade. Now, as a math interventionist, gifted and talented teacher, and RTI Coordinator in a Title I school, I have honed my skills in crafting engaging and effective resources to help students succeed. I'm excited to share my expertise with you and provide valuable resources that I have tested with my students for your classroom.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is a vibrant blend of hands-on, active learning, and a firm yet nurturing classroom management approach. At the heart of my philosophy lies the belief that building strong relationships with my students is paramount. I proudly wear the banner of 'relationships first', creating a classroom environment where every student knows they are valued and loved. I promote accountable talk, encourage a positive outlook, and foster discussions that embrace multiple strategies. This approach not only allows students to collaborate effectively but also provides them with opportunities to witness diverse problem-solving methods, nurturing a rich learning experience that goes beyond the workbook!
