Mrs Fitz's Caring Classroom

I have worked with children for 15 years and have been a professional educator for 11 years. I began as a Special Education teacher in 6th grade and then I taught Special Education in 1st grade as well. Now, I currently teach 3rd grade regular education. Third grade has always been where my heart lies ever since I was a little girl and now here I am so fortunate to educate and enrich learning in our young minds.

I teach all subject areas, incorporate many differentiation strategies and classroom management techniques. I love teaching whole group and small group tasks. The SmartBoard technology is my wingman for many learning opportunities. I love seeing students engaged and just enjoying the learning that is front of them.

I am a proud mommy of two amazing children ~ Caylin, 5 and Landon, 2. I enjoy being married to my husband, Craig, for 7 years now. We love to travel with our children, be outdoors as much as we can, and enjoy great music. And College Football Saturdays - can't go wrong there, especially when the Nittany Lions are playing!
