By Mrs A's Apple Tree I have taught more than 25 years. I have spent most of those years teaching First Grade. I taught preschool and kindergarten for several years. I have also taught Reading Recovery.
I have training as a Reading Recovery teacher and have 6 years experience in that area. I like integrating technology in my lessons that allow my students opportunities to learn.
Teacher of the Year for my school corporation in 2014.
BA in Elementary Education from Purdue University in 1995, have taught 2 years of preschool, 6 years of Reading Recovery, taught 2 years in Kdg., currently teaching 1st grade @ 18 years. BS in Environmental Science from Ball State University in 1990
I have traveled to several countries: Poland, Switzerland, Germany, Ireland, Canada. I love reading, dancing, music, and I sing all the time.
