In 2008, I began my career at a middle school in Piscataway, NJ where I taught social studies (ancient civilizations) and in September 2009 marked the first year of my educational experience at Montville High School after attending Rutgers University for my undergraduate (History) and graduate (Social Studies Education) degrees. I still teach in Montville, and continue to better myself as an educator by adjusting to the different learning styles and abilities of my students. Raised in Jersey City, NJ for the first twelve years of my life and then moving to Livingston, NJ for both middle and high school, I experienced two very different styles of teaching. Being raised in a very diverse settings, as well as interacting with a diverse cast of individuals, has enabled me to view things via different perspectives, which has helped me become the teacher that I am today.
