Motor Skilled

At Motor Skilled we are two PE teachers with over 15 years experience in Primary schools in the UK, Ireland and Denmark. Currently, we work at "The European School Copenhagen" where we have help to develop and deliver the curriculum to the whole of primary section. Before moving to Denmark, Aiden has worked for ??? and was involved in teacher development programs across the UK looking to pass on his passion for all things movement. Damien has spent the last 12 years in teaching and coaching roles in both schools and clubs providing high quality session, building relationships with children, and laying out thousands upon thousands of cone :-)

Delivering PE in two languages (Danish and English), combined with the high energy levels that naturally come with being in a gym hall, we found calmness and humour are clearly our best tools to pass on our passion, values and knowledge to the children. We believe that it's no secret that the foundation of good PE is fun, so we always have a strong focus on both the physical AND social side of teaching. All our lessons are designed to ensure that every child is motivated to engage in all activities, regardless of their levels of self-efficacy. As are a result of these focal points, we have found that fully engaged class often increases group cohesion which leads not only to a more positive PE experience but a togetherness can be seen in the classroom, playtime and even outside of the school.

An English and Irish man working together in an international school trying their best to provide the quality and fun PE for our beloved children at the school. English, danish and a little bit of French are the language of our choice when teaching, though the children seem to find our language skills (or lack of), more amusing than the games.
