TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have experience substitute teaching grades K-12, as a paraprofessional in grade 5, and an at-risk teacher (co-teacher) in 4th grade. I also have had placements in 1st and 4th grade general education classrooms and currently in a 3rd grade 6:1:1 classroom for students with disabilities.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Currently a graduate student in Bilingual Exceptional Education (Childhood 1-6) at Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. I am in the process of completing my special education field practicum in a 6:1:1 self-contained 3rd grade classroom. I have my Bachelor's in Childhood Education (1-6), and completed my undergrad at SUNY Fredonia in Fredonia, NY. I have my NYS certification in Childhood Education (1-6) and will additionally have a Students with Disabilities Certification and teaching bilingual students certification upon completion of my Master's degree.
