Modern Ink

I am a high school English teacher with over fifteen years of experience. Although I love teaching, creating material for the classroom is my true passion! I am also an aspiring novelist.

I enjoy using humor to inspire and encourage learning. I believe each student learns at his or her own face and individual style. Therefore, I create my classroom material to appeal to the whole child, using variety and choice as much as possible.

I completed my Bachelor of Honors Degree at Queen's University in Ontario, Canada. I then attended The University of Western Ontario for my Bachelor of Education. I have also completed an Honors Specialist Degree in Dramatic Arts.

I live in Kingston, Ontario, Canada with my husband, who is also a high school teacher, and my two beautiful daughters. I teach English full time at a local high school and enjoy writing and scrapbooking in my spare time.
