Indiana AATF K-12 Teacher of the Year 2021
B.A. in French, minor in biology from Indiana University in Bloomington (one semester at Aix-Marseille Université) Secondary education licensure in French and life science through the Transition to Teaching program at Indiana University in Bloomington
I began learning French when I was in 8th grade, and my teacher gave me a rock solid foundation in the language, which enabled me to eventually spend a semester in Aix-en-Provence, France. I love collecting languages and experiencing different cultures, so I want to open doors for the next generation to be able to go see the world and make connections with all kinds of different people. Apart from education and travel, I also love painting, reading, running, snuggling my dog Abu, and spending time with my husband and son.
