I have worked in arts education, as a tour guide, programme planner, and school arts teacher. I have my specialist in Reading Education, and I have been an Early Literacy Intervention teacher, and a subject Coach with my school board. I have presented my research and teaching resources at the Ontario Association of Mathematics Educators for several years. Now I'm a Special Education Resource Teacher. I continue to develop new research-based resources. Currently, I'm developing something to improve data management skills and understanding.
I try to base every lesson on an inquiry model. We start with a question or goal, and we learn as we try to solve the problem or reach the goal. I incorporate the arts in as much as I can, and try to meet the needs of as many learning styles as possible.
