TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been an English teacher for 6 years. Over the past 6 years, I have taught 7th-11th grade English. I've taught Common Core standards, ACT English standards, and AP Language standards. My students have experienced 6.5 points of growth on the English portion of the ACT and 6 points of growth on the Reading ACT.

MY TEACHING STYLE

While any of my lessons can be broken down into "I do, we do, two do, you do," my personal style is more like a flipped classroom. Students build their knowledge through multiple options, and there are check-in points for students along the way. If you ever have any questions about the implementation of my curriculum, do not hesitate to reach out.
