TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught all levels of social studies, including college courses. I have taught all kinds of students from all kinds of backgrounds.

MY TEACHING STYLE

These powerpoints were a great tool for lecture, but also discussion and story telling, making history come alive. They pulled the student in and made the complicated less complicated, opening the door for them to understand.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Local school and district awards. My students were often recognized on the state level for their understanding of history, government and civics.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I no longer teach public school, but am working on my phd.
