TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in both the middle school and elementary school settings, teaching choir and general music. I began my first year of teaching in 2020 and navigated through teaching online and in-person synchronously, which inspired my to begin working on my master's degree in curriculum design and technology. I have continued teaching while earning my degree, and currently teach choir and general music in an upper-elementary setting.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My favorite way for students to learn is for them to explore concepts in a way that fits them. In my classroom I do my best to provide multiple means of engagement, opting for small group and partner activities. You might say I subscribe to a "constructivist" philosophy when planning my classroom activities.
