Miss C's Classroom Resources

This is my ninth year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and sixth grade, but I have also worked in various elementary school settings with students in kindergarten through sixth grade. I have experience in both urban and suburban communities with students of all ages as well as abilities. Overall, I am passionate about fostering the healthy growth and development of children; therefore, I aim to make situations both educational as well as enjoyable, because children should always be encouraged to explore the world around them and expand their understanding of it as it relates to them.

I work to appropriately differentiate instruction in a responsive classroom so that students' personal needs as learners are successfully met. It is imperative that all individuals involved in school settings know equality is not simply everyone doing the same thing simultaneously; rather, it is everyone participating in what tasks help them best reach the ultimate learning goal set for all. With this perspective, I want students to be genuinely intrigued by what they study and yearn for further understanding.
