Miranda at Displaced Pedagogy

This is my third year teaching middle school band, choir, and music history. I teach in a high-needs school and am required to use Kagan Cooperative Learning and High Yield Strategies in my classroom.

I am completing Orff Level 3 in the summer of 2023. I believe that scaffolding information for students is the best way to get students to understand the hard things and that young child are capable of understanding difficult concepts if it is taught correctly. I am required to use Kagan Cooperative Learning Strategies and specific high-yield strategies in my classroom.
