I first learned of Mindfulness while spending a month in silence studying insight meditation at a Buddhist Monastery in Thailand over 15 years ago. Since then, I've engaged in ongoing personal study while also teaching mindfulness and meditation practices to children and adults of all ages. In an effort to better support their mental and emotional well-being through the COVID-19 Pandemic, I developed a once-weekly year-long mindfulness program for my Kindergarten students. I have since tailored this curriculum to all elementary grade levels and seek to share it with as many teachers and students as possible!

I live in Northern California with my husband and two loving and spirited elementary-aged boys (who have been the fortunate test subjects of my Mindfulness lessons and exercises). When I'm not working with children or spending time with my own, I enjoy reading, hiking, meditating, traveling, tap dancing and flat-footing (Appalachian traditional percussive dance).
