I am a certified Language Arts teacher with over twelve years of classroom experience. My award-winning book, Galacticab Catastrophe, incorporates ELA components into a time-travel tale. My Children's book, The Platypus Puzzle, helps students understand root words, prefixes, and suffixes.
I believe that students learn best when actively engaged; therefore, my classes are student-led, and questioning and discussion are central to the learning process. As a teacher, my job is to guide, encourage, and motivate.
My middle-grade novel, Galacticab Catastrophe, was a finalist in the Arizona Literary Contest. In addition, the book earned a four-star review from Chanticleer Books.
