My style of teaching is based on the Montessori Philosophy. I believe in "following the child" and using techniques in the classroom that will encourage children to become life-long learners. I promote self-discovery through the use of beautifully made hands-on materials provided for the children to manipulate independently. I support young children to find their natural strengths and to use those strengths to excel in life and be happy with who they are.

I am a wife and a mother of 3 young children - Michael (age 4), Clara (age 3), and Julianna (age 17 months). I married my high school sweetheart almost 8 years ago, who is more than anyone could ever ask for in a husband. I am a product of Montessori both from the school setting as well as my own mother, who recently retired after teaching Montessori for almost 40 years. My life is dedicated to making sure children's needs are met in every way possible.
