TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Currently I am teaching a self-contained gifted and talented class of sixth graders in a magnet program, but I have extensive experience with grades K-6 as a literacy coach and with teaching 6-7-8th grade math. Project - based learning is my focus. I am a SMART Certified Trainer and SMART Certified Lesson Developer. I provide professional development in both my own district and in other school districts and businesses throughout California and Nevada.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It takes a myriad of tools and strategies to be successful with every learner. I employ whatever it takes and make constant adjustments. Technology in many forms is in constant use in my classroom, and students are encouraged and challenged to push themselves with project based learning.
