TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 18 years of experience. I have taught in kindergarten, first and second grade self-contained classrooms. I also have experience as a Reading Recovery teacher and as a Reading Interventionist for Kinder through 6th grade. I have taught Developmental Reading at the university level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe teaching should be hands-on and active and child centered. "You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives." ~Clay P. Bedford
