TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught 30 years in Wisconsin Public Schools. I started out teaching junior and senior high vocal music. In 2000, I switched to elementary classroom and taught 5th and 6th grade. Presently, I teach reading and writing workshop to sixth graders.

I'm a true believer in building a classroom community. Once the kids know I care about them as people, then the real teaching begins.
