Mathematical Number Talks

Lynn Ball has over 15 years of teaching experience. He spent the first 10 years of his teaching career in an elementary setting teaching at the low income, title one school in the neighborhood he grew up in. For the last four years, Mr. Ball has been an instructional coach withking with K-12 teachers to improve instruction in all academic areas. Mr. Ball also does work as an educational consultant in the area of mathematics.

Mr. Ball believes in an open classroom where student learning is the focus of everything we do. He works to establish strong relationships with students to accomplish academic and non-academic goals. Beyond building relationships, Mr. Ball believes productive struggle, student collaboration, and individual exploration are at the heart of his teaching philosophy.

Mr. Ball is currently a Teacher on Special Assignment/ Instructional Coach in the Northern California School District in which he grew up. He has a lovely wife and two amazing children, Addison and Jackson. He enjoys art, coaching soccer, and collecting sneakers.
