TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome to my TPT store! I've been a Middle School Math and Algebra teacher for nearly 15 years. I've been creating my own resources all along and now I'm excited to share and create more for you!

MY TEACHING STYLE

My middle school students are "loud learners". They love to socialize with each other. I try to balance individual work with cooperative learning tasks in order to keep them engaged and focused. They appreciate any effort to make a regular worksheet into an interactive activity or game! I always want students to know what they are learning and what they should be able to do. I believe desired learning outcomes should be clearly communicated and nothing left to surprise!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I earned my Bachelors Degree in Education in 2005 (Middle School Math and Science) and Masters in the Art of Teaching in 2011 (Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment). I've had my eyes set on being a teacher for as long as I can remember!
