Greetings! With a year of teaching under my belt, I'm excited to continue my journey in education. Growing up with a mother who's a seasoned 3rd-grade teacher, I've been immersed in the world of public education from a young age, gaining valuable insights along the way. My love for music began early, practically as soon as I could walk and talk. Now, as a teacher, I'm privileged to share that passion as the instructor for a dynamic 4th and 5th-grade instrumental music program. Guiding students through the intricacies of band and string instruments is not just a job—it's a joy.
In my teaching approach, creating a safe and inclusive environment is paramount. Every student deserves a space where they feel valued and supported, free to explore and grow without fear of judgment. By fostering a culture of respect and empathy, I aim to cultivate a classroom atmosphere where everyone feels empowered to express themselves through music. Additionally, I place a strong emphasis on building a solid foundation of music theory, providing students with the essential tools and understanding needed to excel in their musical journey. Through clear instruction, patience, and encouragement, I strive to instill in each student a deep appreciation for the art of music, ensuring they not only play proficiently but also understand the language of music itself.

I completed my high school education with a passion for music that guided my academic journey. Following my graduation, I pursued my love for both music and psychology at college. In the spring of 2022, I proudly earned my Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a minor in Psychology. Throughout my college years, I dedicated myself to honing my skills as a musician, specializing in the clarinet as my primary instrument and mastering the French horn as my secondary. This multifaceted educational experience has equipped me with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of both music and human behavior, preparing me for a fulfilling career in music education.
Beyond my studies in music education and psychology, I have a strong passion for digital design. I love exploring graphic design and digital media, constantly seeking new ways to express my creativity. Recently, I've been sharing my work on Teacher Pay Teacher, where I create educational resources with engaging visuals. It's an exciting way for me to combine my love for design with my dedication to education, and I'm eager to continue exploring this intersection in the future.
