Mallory Key Music

I have taught Elementary Education for over 25 years and have a Masters in Music Education and a B.S. in Elementary Ed. I currently teach music in a PK-5th Elementary School Amd beginning music in a local Homeschool Program. I have also taught early childhood classes and present lessons to adults on music education.

My teaching style is Eclectic utilizing Orff-Schulwerk, Dalcroze, and Kodaly, with singing, movement, and playing instruments. Movement to music is very important especially now, and a movement/dance exercise is planned as part of each lesson.

Have been a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association, and committee member to the National Convention. Also have been a board member of our local chapter and continue to advance my career with many professional development opportunities. I have also received scholarship awards for undergraduate and graduate studies at the universities I have attended.

Being in nature, hiking, and being around horses is joy, as well as composing music.
