During the 2019-2020 school year, I have been fortunate enough to be a Long Term Substitute Teacher for a Title 1 classroom in a large district in Southern Ohio. It is wonderful because I get to see 40 kids from Kindergarten up through Third grade. I am constantly on the go since I only have 30 minutes with each group. I have also done a four-month long term sub position for a 6th grade Language Arts Classroom teaching Writing, Grammer, and Spelling. I have been the lead teacher is a school-age classroom at a daycare, where I would have students before and after school and then half day kindergartners during the time they were not at their school. During the summer I would create, plan, and run our summer program which consisted of education, food, crafts, and 20 field trips.
I LOVE centers! I prefer to have my students working in small groups around the classroom, this allows me to be able to work with them in small groups also.
Most recently I have graduated with my Master's Degree in Classroom Technology from Bowling Green State University. I have my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and I graduated from The University of Rio Grande in 2010.
