10+ Years Teaching Foreign Languages.
Language Immersion.
Great academic record. I am a language learner myself and love reading and writing poetry and novels. As for teaching, I can say most of my students love me, ha! =)
Universidad Iberoamericana
I grew up in Puebla, Mexico where The Battle of Puebla took place in 1862 (from which the Cinco de Mayo holiday originated). I received my BA in International Trade from Universidad Iberoamericana, in Puebla. Always been fascinated by foreign cultures and languages, I spent a few years in 4 different countries in Europe between 1994 and 2006. These experiences lead to many adventures and to the love for teaching! I began my teaching career as an ESL teacher in Mexico, and eventually moved to the United States where I worked in international business for a couple of years. Years later I moved to Charlotte and joined a language school as a Spanish teacher and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching to students of all ages. I also organized a social Spanish language group and a reading club for a couple of years. I've also helped students and professionals with Spanish as a Foreign Language courses, Spanish Literature and Business Spanish. I currently work as a Spanish interpreter in Charlotte. I LOVE sharing my language and culture!
