TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught fourth and fifth grade for 16 years now, and I absolutely love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that it is imperative to capture and maintain student attention. I incorporate websites, videos, and pictures into most of my lessons because I want students to interact with the lesson.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Earned the honor of 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year at my school. Shining Teaching Moment: When a fifth grade student told me that I helped restore her faith in the public school education system.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Integrating Technology into the Curriculum.
