TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 25th year in education. I've held a variety of positions because I love to learn and try new things. I have been a classroom teacher and taught grades K - 6. I have been a Curriculum Coordinator and learned a lot from doing it. The longest position I've held is as an Elementary Instructional Coach - I really enjoyed getting to work with both teachers and students. Currently, this is my first year as a Reading and Math Interventionist in a K - 6 title building.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm hands on kind of teacher. I believe kids learn best by doing and not just listening. I believe in anchor charts and so a lot of the posters you see me put in my store are meant to be used to create anchor charts.
