If you're looking for a fresh literary voice, then you might like the Tallon Jackson series, which chronicles the life of a boy growing up in a quirky artists' community in the beach town of Emerald Isle, North Carolina. The first book in the series is a coming of age story called EMERALD ISLE PEOPLE, the follow-up is a bullying story called SWANSBORO PEOPLE. The third book is a young adult story about perseverance called THE HIGH WATER MARK. The fourth book is a cautionary tale about morality called THE ROCKY SHORE OF REALITY.
