I have thirty two years of experience teaching English Language Arts at the middle school level and supporting students with small group reading instruction. Throughout that time, I've used a wide variety of programs and resources. Using that experience, I've created my own materials, blending the best of each. I've worked with fellow teachers, sharing resources for my entire career and now I look forward to sharing them with you!
I believe students learn best when they are interested, active and engaged! I provide students with hands-on activities and opportunities to work with peers and the teacher throughout my lessons.
Yet to be added
I grew up in Rochester, New York attending school in the very same district where I have taught my entire career. I attended SUNY Brockport for my undergraduate degree in elementary education, Nazareth College for my masters degree in reading and Canisius College for a second masters in educational administration.
I am a wife and proud mom to two daughters.
