TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught fourth grade for 8 years and was a Math Coach for one year following that where I worked with grades K-5. I am now a media specialist for an elementary school where I teach grades Pre K-5.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love technology and try to incorporate in into as many lessons as I can. Kids these days have so many handheld devices, and I feel as an educator I need to keep up with what they are using and doing!

I graduated high school in 1994 in Alabama. I attended The University of South Alabama and received my BA in Elementary Education in 2002. I went back to school and earned a MA in Library Media in 2010 from The University of West Alabama.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am married and have 3 kids, ages 15, 16, 20. I have 2 dogs that I consider my fur children (a Great Dane named Bo and a Chihuahua named Bella.) I am obsessed with England and hope to visit there one day. My second obsession is The Big Bang Theory. I have tried for 2 years to get tickets to an episode filming with no luck.
