TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have had the pleasure of working as a classroom teacher, Title 1 interventionist, a Reading Specialist, a district literacy coach, and an adjunct professor at the college level.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a reading teacher, I specialize in using evidence-based practices to teach students how to read. I employ various teaching styles to meet the needs of my students, but some common styles include explicit instruction, multisensory learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative learning, and technology-enhanced tools to benefit the reinforcement of skills taught.
