TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I been a professional educator for 19 years. I have taught grades 4-8 in all of the core subjects including Algebra I, II.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in engaging each child in accordance to their optimal learning style. As a result, my lessons involve auditory, verbal-linguistic, visual, bodily-kinesthetic, tactile, natural, and musical avenues. In addition, I am a strong advocate for teaching in the zone of proximal development. If you communicate high expectations to your students, they will do their very best to meet those expectations. In essence, I believe that all students can learn, if given the right opportunity.
