I graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Elementary and Early Childhood education. I have been teaching for 28 years. I have 8 years of experience in the classroom teaching K-5, 1st and 2nd grade. I completed my +18 after college in Learning Disabilities and have worked with resource teachers using the inclusion model. While teaching I received my masters in Library and Information Science and have been working as a teacher librarian for 20 years. I am Nationally Board Certified Teacher and I am extremely passionate about new and innovative ideas.
My teaching style focuses on the 4 C's in every lesson - Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Communication & Creativity.
